A musical memory to mark 75 years since the end of World War II
Two talented sixth formers have made our latest track and video to mark 75 years since the end of World War II, at this time of remembrance.
Raising money for Jersey charity Holidays for Heroes, they have teamed up with members of Aureole’s choir to make a beautiful musical memory. The medley of World War II songs, arranged by Derek Lawrence, is a fantastic romp through the most famous songs of the time, from ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ to the foot tapping ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’.
Special thanks to Paul Bentley of the Jersey Military Vehicles Club for his donation of drone footage of a reconstruction of WWII military vehicle activity at Elizabeth Castle.
Please give generously. Every penny given to our JustGiving Page is given to local Jersey charities and money from this video will go to Holidays for Heroes.
Thank you!
